This role is crucial in driving the strategic sourcing initiatives, developing strong supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services for aerospace and medical precision components. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring supply chain efficiency and supporting the company's growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop and execute sourcing strategies for aerospace and medical precision components.
·Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers specializing in high-precision machining, surface treatment, heat treatment, and painting processes.
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
·Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align sourcing decisions with technical and regulatory requirements.
·Manage supplier performance through regular audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
·Drive cost reduction programs while maintaining product quality and compliance with industry standards (AS 9100 D, ISO 13485, ISO 14001).
· Ensure supply chain resilience through risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
·Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence to inform sourcing strategies.
·Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external suppliers.
· Support new product introductions by securing reliable and capable supply partners.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
·Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within the aerospace or medical device manufacturing sectors.
·Strong understanding of CNC machining, surface treatment, heat treatment, painting, and special processes (e.g., coating).
·Proven negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
· Familiarity with regulatory standards, including AS 9100 D, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001.
· Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
