**Experience:• 12 months of role experience is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Performs standard and specialized laboratory procedures in preparation of tissue, biological materials, and body fluids for microscopic examination by staff pathologists.
Formal Education Required: High School Diploma with 2 years’ work experience in a laboratory setting OR Associates of Science degree with 1 year work experience in Histology laboratory setting
A minimum of 12 continuing education credits are required to be completed each calendar year for continued employment
Manual dexterity sufficient to perform delicate precise dissection procedures, operate cutting instrumentation (microtome), fixing and staining equipment, mix and prepare stains and solutions, and perform preventive and daily maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Shift: Monday - Friday shifts can be 6:00am- 2:30pm, 6:30am- 3:00pm or may need 5:00am - 1:30pm
Maximum days off: 7 days
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• HT (Histotechnician)
