Cardiac Sonographer Sr.
Days Needed/weekend requirement: M – F; no weekends
Certifications needed: RDCS in Pediatric Echo is preferred; open to RDCS in adult echo with extensive pediatric experience; Fetal experience is helpful
Experience required (min # of years): 1-2 years in pediatrics is preferred
Duties/Responsibilities/expectations: Scan pediatric patients on the inpatient units and outpatient clinics; enter clinical findings in the Syngo reporting system; looking for a good team player with strong communication skills, punctual, motivated, and driven to help. We are a high acuity Heart Center, and we need motivated individuals.
Dress Code: Scrubs, scrub pants and kid friendly t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.
Orientation schedule: Hospital on-boarding is a couple days with mandatory education; will be paired with a “preceptor” to learn the ropes of the depart for the first couple of weeks to understand the protocol, workflows, and department. This can fluctuate based on the candidate. Staff are always available for questions.
