Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide support and care for adults with disabilities. Duties
- Provide personal care assistance to adults with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Administer medications as prescribed, while monitoring vital signs and overall health.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, particularly for those with dementia or autism.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health or community care is preferred.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medication administration.
- Familiarity with behavior care techniques and strategies for assisting individuals with autism.
- Certification in CPR required
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy towards individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
