We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our team on a travel nursing assignment in the orthopedic unit. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop effective care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, adhering to hospital standards and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in medical surgical care.
Requirements
- A minimum of 24 months of experience in a medical surgical - orthopedic unit setting, with a strong track record of providing exceptional patient care.
- 3 months of experience with Epic preferred, but not required.
- A valid Louisiana license or compact license, as well as COVID vaccination and flu vaccination (with religious and medical declinations accepted).
- Ability to commit to at least 8 weeks, with flexibility to work during hurricane season if needed.
