The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the COVID-19 Medical Unit. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients while working with a talented group of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care in a dynamic medical unit environment
- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records, including medication administration and vital signs
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and new developments in nursing
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Louisiana or compact state
- Minimum 24 months of experience in a Medical Surgical Unit
- Prior experience with Epic preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
