Nurse (COVID Medical Unit)

We are seeking a highly experienced nurse for a travel nursing assignment.

Experience

• 24 months of experience in any role is required.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required within the last 4 years.

Requirements

• A Nebraska license or compact license is mandatory for submission.
• This role may involve floating to additional units and locations.
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility to be considered.
• A flu vaccination is required after submission, with exemptions for religious, medical, or personal reasons accepted.

Additional Details

• An interview prior to an offer may not be available.
• This position offers Guaranteed Hours of 36.
• The schedule will not be blocked, and candidates must be flexible and willing to float and work when needed.
• The hospital has 24 beds and follows a team care model with a nurse-to-patient ratio.
• The specialties include oncology, renal, urology, general surgery, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general med.

Eligibility Requirements

• Candidates may not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
• One reference from the past 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) is required for submission.
• One reference from the past 3 years (Any reference type) is also required for submission.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for submission.

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
