Responsibilities:

-Provide installation of low voltage systems, including alarm systems, camera systems, access control, intercom, residential audio/video, commercial audio/video, structured cabling, & WIFI networks.
- Provide field service support for all mentioned low voltage systems, including
troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations.
- Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide mentoring/ training of junior technicians both hands on in the field and classroom

- Provide training and support to end-users on the operation of low voltage systems.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role 3 years with working knowledge of security systems, IP camera systems, access control
including door hardware, intercoms, structured wiring, computer networking, and other related technologies with the ability for design, installation, programming, & troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand complex design drawings and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of NEC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and can pass a background check.
- Strong customer service skills both on the phone and in person.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will leverage your core skills in electrical experience and schematics to ensure optimal system performance. Additionally, your commitment to customer service and adherence to NEC standards will ensure client satisfaction and safety. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
