**Experience:• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 10 months of Bone Marrow Transplant Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Shift: D/N or Nights
Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
Schedule: No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule. The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend. Must be flexible.
Experience:
-Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum).
-Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred.

-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)
-Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)
-Amyloidosis
-Aplastic Anemia
-Chronic Leukemia
-Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
-Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia
-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
-Multiple Myeloma
-Myelodysplastic Syndrome
-Myeloproliferative Disorders
-Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Skills Required:
-MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
-Telemetry monitoring
-Interpretation of dysrhythmias
-Use of Rapid Response Teams
-Feeding tube care and management
-Blood product administration
-Central line blood draw
-Peripheral line care/management
-PICC line management
-Nasal cannula administration
There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start – no exceptions. Please screen for any candidate vacation time taking place immediately after booking as this will likely cause a push due to fingerprinting delays.
Please note: All candidates must be made aware of the urgency of the Ohio Fingerprinting process. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of push/cancel.
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more.
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
Details:
