**Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Experience:• 18 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Will work every other weekend
Is on-call req: No.

Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: Pediatric MedSurg, Pediatric Step Down/Telemetry. Required Endocrine/Metabolic Skills/Experience: Hyperbilirubinemia, Insulin administration.
Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Placement of oral/nasogastric tubes. Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs. Required Medications/Emergency Medication Skills/Experience: Pediatric Dosage Calculations.
Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Oral/ nasal Suctioning, Oxygen Delivery Systems.
Required Professional Topic and Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions, Wound assessment/care.
Scrub Color: Any solid color.
RTO: Candidate Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
BLS, PALS - RQI acceptable.
Maximum days off: 5 days
1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required after submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required after submission
