Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive care to postpartum patients, ensuring both mother and newborn receive optimal support and medical attention.
2. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with breastfeeding and newborn care education.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
4. Educate families on postnatal care, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Qualifications:

1. Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in postpartum or maternal-newborn nursing.
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
4. Proficiency with MEDITECH Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system is preferred.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
