Driver/Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Drivers & Helpers to assist our drivers in the transportation and delivery of goods. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong communication skills, and have a willingness to learn about various types of vehicles, including freight trucks, tow trucks, dump trucks, and tankers.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading freight from vehicles.
• Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move goods.
• Communicate effectively with the driver to ensure timely deliveries.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading area.
• Support shuttle driving tasks as needed.
• Participate in routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety protocols while on the road and during loading/unloading processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in freight handling or willing to learn
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with drivers and team members.
• Willingness to learn about different vehicle types including dump trucks and tankers.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
• Must have license if applying for a driver
• DOT CARD (A Plus)
• No felony’s no misdemeanors
