TrustedSec is seeking a Director level person to lead our cutting-edge marketing efforts . This person should be deeply connected to the information security community, with a proven track record in marketing cybersecurity consulting services—not products. This role requires expertise in crafting and executing campaigns that communicate the value of our consulting services, from penetration testing to incident response, to organizations of all sizes.

As Marketing Director, you’ll oversee the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives, develop targeted campaigns that resonate with the infosec community, and manage a talented team of professionals. You’ll work closely with our technical experts to translate complex security concepts into clear, impactful messaging that drives business growth.

This position is a US-based, remote position open to those who reside within the US and are authorized to work within the US. If you live near our headquarters in Fairlawn, Ohio, you are always welcome to commute to our office to work.

Requirements :

Duties / Responsibilities :

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's services
Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and advertising
Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in messaging and branding
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies
Conducts market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of services
Conducts pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive service pricing
Manage and motivate a team of marketing professionals to achieve daily objectives and reach business goals
Communicate any issues with upper management to ensure effective business operations
Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies
Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows
Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities :

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Technical copy and create content

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell services

Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership and management skills

Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

10 years experience in marketing, information security, or technical consulting industries

Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns

Previous work experience as a team leader or supervisor.

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Estimated travel : 5%
