Posted Job Title Senior Content Producer, Wharton Coalition for Equity and Opportunity Job Profile Title Communications Specialist Senior Job Description Summary The Wharton Coalition for Equity and Opportunity (CEO) advances racial and broad based equity in society by affecting positive change through research-based solutions and educational opportunities. Wharton CEO delivers impact research learnings to corporations, media, policymakers, students and individuals to institute positive change and create equity and opportunity in business relationships. The Senior Content Producer will work closely with senior leadership and Wharton Marketing and Communications to communicate the overall strategic mission of Wharton CEO. The Senior Content Producer will execute a plan to create and distribute digestible DEI content from faculty research targeted at industry, students, alumni, and business professionals through Wharton's channels and external media outlets. The Senior Content Producer will build relationships and form partnerships with marketing and communications staff in various units across Wharton and Penn to help meet the strategic goals of Wharton CEO and will work closely with the various units under Wharton Marketing and Communications to distribute content and research insights. Job Description Responsibilities include: In partnership with senior leadership and Wharton MarComm, communicate the overall mission of Wharton CEO to external audiences. Create digital content assets that elevate the reach and impact of Wharton CEO's research and insights, advance marketing efforts and align with, promote and strengthen the Brand of the Wharton School. These assets include stories, blogs, graphics, web site content, landing pages, social, email, video, print, and other materials. Implement Wharton CEO's content strategy and editorial and content standards which are based on industry best practices and Brand guidelines. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Wharton MarComm and marketing and communication staff in various units across the University and School and share best practices in DEI content creation. Translate and communicate faculty research findings for various audiences, including industry, students, alumni, business professionals, and the general public with a goal of increasing the reach and relevance of its academic output. Work collaboratively across diverse groups at the School to develop an understanding of faculty research outcomes and create appropriately branded assets and content to showcase these outcomes. Serve as a content strategist for new and existing web projects and objectives for Wharton CEO. Collaborate storyboarding and scripting for video projects. Create, develop, and manage web content, social media platforms and other digital assets. Oversee management of all event communication needs for Wharton CEO, including event invitations, announcements, speaker bios, webpages, registration forms, and programs. Lead strategy and development of marketing and promotional materials for fundraising and programming efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field is preferred. Exceptional skills in writing and editing. Excellent decision-making ability. Ability to work independently, and within a group. Must maintain confidentiality. Must be comfortable with and have knowledge of marketing analytics. Must be fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress, knowledgeable with marketing automation tools (ex. Salesforce, Pardot) and be comfortable learning an adapting new technologies and processes. Ability to think strategically through various channels. Experience with HTML coding and other CMS tools Extensive knowledge of current interactive technologies and best practices. Computer experience (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, mobile apps, database experience). Practical experience with various web metrics programs. A visual communication sample that highlights design skills and style Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Wharton School Pay Range $61,046.00 - $95,972.00 Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
