They are seeking a dynamic and heart-centered helper to be part of their daily rhythm—someone who can easily switch between engaging with the children in meaningful ways and helping to keep the home running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and emotionally intelligent individual who enjoys working with children and supporting a home. They thrive in an environment that values learning, play, and mindfulness. With a passion for storytelling, art, nature, and movement, the candidate brings a sense of fun and flow to both structured activities and free play. They are proactive, intuitive, and adaptable, able to anticipate the needs of both the children and the household. Bonus: Candidates familiar with the Waldorf schooling method.
Responsibilities:
- Engage the kids in creative storytelling, arts, crafts, and imaginative play
- Foster Socratic discussions that encourage curiosity and critical thinking
- Support and help set up homeschooling activities, including reading, writing, and STEM exploration
- Use play therapy techniques to support emotional development
- Incorporate breathwork, movement, and neurographic art to help with emotional regulation
- Participate in active play (trampoline, tag, nature walks, scavenger hunts, etc.)
- Assist with special projects like co-writing a book with Emori and preparing for events like business fairs
- If musically inclined, incorporate music and rhythm into learning activities
- Help maintain the home’s rhythm by tidying up with the kids, teaching them to reset spaces
- Assist with household organization, laundry, some meal prep & clean-up, and light chores
- Support in maintaining homeschooling materials and celebration calendars
- Help reset the home when the family takes the kids out
