Job Overview
As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Responsibilities:
Provide health care services according to care plan or IEP.
Perform household tasks (light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, & grocery shop).
Accompany patients to doctor appointments or to hospital visits.
Assist with clients’ personal care activities.
Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition.
Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Always maintain a high degree of patient confidentiality.
Prepare meals and assist patient with eating.
Follow care plan of services the patient need.
Report on health condition or change in status to the nurse.
Provide toileting assistance to elementary age children.
