We are currently looking for an Executive Director, Corporate Applications & Shared Services to join our IT Applications & Support organization with primary responsibility for our Workday platform and several other enterprise shared services applications. In this role, you will have the overall responsibility to manage the technology delivery and shared services application lifecycle for Trustmark's Finance, Human Resources, Legal and Facilities functions through interacting with other Trustmark IT stakeholders and 3rd party vendors. In addition, you will be responsible for other enterprise shared service capabilities supporting all business units including IT's project, portfolio and demand management function providing portfolio level visibility into all IT demand across business units and shared services.
You will have responsibility for business technology strategy development, solution delivery in conjunction with other Trustmark shared services teams as well as 3rd party vendors, risk management and relationship management. In addition, you will provide strategic consulting level support and guidance through key initiatives, proactively serve as a trusted advisor, and be the primary IT point of contact to business line executives and managers. You will serve a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology.
Responsibilities :
- The strategic interface of business units and shared services for business and IT strategy development, solution discovery, service, risk and relationship management. Serves as liaison between business units and IT.
- Oversees the identification, prioritization and delivery of work; development of expectations and business architecture.
- Responsible for developing and delivering assigned products, solutions or services.
- Provide strategic consulting, support and guidance regarding key IT initiatives to multiple business units.
- Communicates decisions, priorities and project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit and shared service requests, projects and initiatives to multiple business units.
- Serves as a primary point of contact and advisor for IT Executives. Advises in delivering products and services to value all business partners for multiple business units.
- Plays a lead role in enabling business goal achievement through the effective use of technology and facilitates business changes through technology for multiple business units.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance on application solutions, architectures, integration strategies, governance, quality assurance and business support processes.
- Lead the ongoing design, deployment xand enhancements of the Workday platform and many other SaaS applications used by HR, Finance, Legal and facilities shared services teams.
- Have complete ownership of the Workday platform and continually drive excellence based on stakeholder needs and Workday capabilities.
- Manage solution delivery for HR and Finance including working with other Trustmark shared services teams and 3rd party vendors.
- Act as the key liaison across Finance and HR as well as the IT department
- Manage partner relationship with Workday and other 3rd party vendors as appropriate and necessary.
- Collaborate with architecture, information security and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards.
- Assists executives in defining organizational goals and strategic plans.
- Contributes to and develops guidelines, processes, and procedures for the IT Application organization.
- Owns developing and implementing IT project / program delivery processes like the SDLC
- Makes strategic decisions based on company goals and objectives. Presents to ELT on projects or strategic items.
- Expert business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area(s).
- Responsible for assessing, nurturing, and growing talent.
- Drives innovation and seasoned direction in area of expertise.
- Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience working with or leading a team of User Experience Designers.
- Experience in building and implementing demand management frameworks, processes and procedures.
- Experience defining processes for sourcing planned and unplanned demand and reporting to all levels of the organization.
Qualifications :
The salary range for this role is the following in Lake Forest, Illinois :
160,965.00 - $298,935.00 per year
The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus.
