Scrum Master
Location: King of Prussia, PA 19406
Duration: 6 months plus (possibility to hire)
Responsibilities:
- Define Agile processes tailored to the needs of the team and organization.
- Lead the adoption and execution of Agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and eliminate impediments to Agile delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through defining and collecting agile team stats, sprint retrospectives and iterative process adjustments.
- Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, guiding them in self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
- Promote transparency and accountability by managing Agile artifacts, such as product backlogs, sprint backlogs, and burn-down charts
- Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables.
- Facilitate clear communication and expectation management across all levels of the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and refine Agile practices to address team-specific challenges and align with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging Agile methodologies, incorporating relevant innovations.
Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience driving Agile transformations across diverse teams.
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams to achieve high performance.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Practiced Behavioral Driven Development BDD and its tools like Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Working knowledge with source control systems like Git and other agile tools like, Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD
- Great team player utilizing agile delivery (ex. Scrum)
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and process facilitation skills
- Experience in e-commerce and/or payment and financial domains is a plus
- B.S. in computer science or Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
