Trustpoint.One is pleased to be partnering with a growing, dynamic national litigation law firm in their search for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their office in Knoxville, TN. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree required
- Licensed in the state of Tennessee required
- 1-5 years of litigation experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
