What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Litigation Paralegal position at Trustpoint.One?
Trustpoint One is pleased to assist a leading law firm in its search or an experienced civil litigation paralegal for its New Castle, Delaware office. Qualified candidates with have the following expertise to support attorneys, other paralegals, clients and expert witnesses using a team approach :
- Three to five years’ experience in Delaware law and defense litigation.
- Familiarity with Delaware court filings.
- Familiarity with daily time entry billing requirements and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to serve and respond to discovery, handle records and prepare documents.
- Schedule depositions and medical exams.
- Ability to perform research through Lexis.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved organization is a plus.
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
