What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Counsel position at Trustpoint.One?
Trustpoint.One is recruiting a Contracts Counsel who is client-focused, organized and has a team-oriented approach. This is a temp-to-perm, hybrid position and applicants must be able to commute to the company’s office in Chicago. Must also have at least 5 year of technology contracts review experience.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in any US state .
- Minimum of 7 years of legal experience , time spent working in an in-house legal department is a plus.
- At least 5 year of relevant work experience focused on contracts review, prior experience working in the IT / software / technology industry is a plus .
- Familiarity with contract review for alignment with product terms and budget.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality; precision in drafting and communication.
- Ability to uphold standards of complete discretion, confidentiality, ethics and fair / proper behavior.
