What are the responsibilities and job description for the Defense Litigation Paralegal position at Trustpoint.One?
Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a collegial, nationally ranked law firm in its search for a Litigation Paralegal. This is a direct hire role out of the firm’s Blue Bell, PA offices.
The firm specializes in defense litigation and promotes a collaborative atmosphere where paralegals partner with their attorneys and work together on cases. This position will support attorneys in the General Liability department.
Primary duties of the Litigation Paralegal include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling depositions and defense medical exams (IMEs, expert retention);
- Preparing legal documents including assisting with the drafting of motions, discovery responses and requests;
- Reviewing and analyzing medical records and preparing medical summaries;
- Calendaring / docketing relevant information and follow-up dates;
- Researching legal precedent;
- Preparing for trial, if necessary;
- Performing verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches; and
- Assisting with other duties as necessary.
The successful Litigation Paralegal will have:
- 5 years (preferably 7) of litigation experience (general liability, insurance defense, and/or personal injury litigation (preferably defense-oriented));
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software (preferably ProLaw);
- Strong ability to handle a high volume workload;
- A motivated mindset, eager to contribute to the team and be highly organized!
- Heavy experience with in-depth medical summaries and discovery motion practice.
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
Salary Range is $70-79k, commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits package; discretionary bonuses.

Salary : $70,000 - $79,000
