What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Legal Assistant position at Trustpoint.One?
Trustpoint is excited to partner with a national law firm in their search of a Litigation Legal Assistant on a direct hire basis. This hybrid role will begin in-office for the first month and then move to a 3 days in/2 days remote schedule. The position will support the firm's litigation practice in bankruptcy and other areas. Successful candidates will have 3 years' experience in litigation support with prior experience in bankruptcy preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Attorney calendar management, including travel arrangements and monitoring upcoming court appearances
- Draft a variety of correspondence and prepare legal documents, including briefs and pleading; filing both electronically and traditionally
- Provide case management assistance and tracking of litigation
- Enter attorney timesheets, utilizing firm software; maintaining attorney diary system
- Answer, screen, direct or take messages of phone calls; scheduling depositions, meetings and appointments
- File system maintenance and management, per firm guidelines
- Enter and document expense reimbursements
- Other duties and special projects as needed
Requirements:
- 3 years' experience in litigation support; experience in bankruptcy (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in court filings, both E-filing and traditional
- Able to generate TOC and TOA
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Professional
- Able to communicate will all levels of attorney and staff, effectively and professionally
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Able to prioritize workflow and manage cases/projects efficiently
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time

Salary : $58,000 - $67,000
