Trustpoint.One is assisting our client in finding a Senior Communications Coordinator to join their Chicago OR Washington DC office.
This position requires 3 days (of your choice) in office a week.
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Communications Coordinator role is at the core of our communication efforts, bridging various functions from digital marketing to internal/external communications, social media, and public relations. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent writing, editing, and project management skills, who exceeds at collaborating effectively across teams. Responsibilities include creating high-quality and creative communication materials that adhere to our external brand, developing and executing content strategies, and ensuring the effective delivery of impactful messaging to various internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
•Manage the client alert and blog production and distribution process.
•Assist with drafting and editing various communications content, including but not limited to: press releases, media write-ups, social media posts, internal newsletters, and surveys and nominations.
•Drafting content for sections of the website.
•Support attorney training on the LinkedIn platform.
•Monitor and manage analytics reporting for PR efforts, editorial calendars, and surveys and nominations.
•Serving as editor and lead writer for internal newsletters.
•Contributing to the firm’s overall brand and marketing strategy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Strong writing, editing, and research skills; the ability to synthesize information and accurately capture it in a written narrative.
•Detail-oriented.
•Ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
•Understanding and awareness of social media channels and strategies.
•Excellent organizational skills and motivation to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
•High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe products.
•Knowledge of AP Style and email marketing tools (Concept a plus).
•Basic knowledge of HTML.
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree required. Communications, Journalism, or Digital Media majors preferred.
Experience:
•4-5 years’ experience preferred in marketing/communications or PR. Previous law firm experience a plus.
