Job Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized administrative assistant to support our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience with general office tasks, Microsoft Word/Excel, and a strong preference for legal experience or training.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting paralegals and legal assistants with various tasks, including copying/scanning, filing, and other clerical duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Date stamps and routes incoming mail, scan all incoming mail and e-mail to interested parties, and copy all outgoing mail for interested parties.
- Organizes and maintains file system, files correspondence and other records, and makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
- Orders and maintains supplies, arranges for equipment maintenance, and manages library/publications.
- Copies and scanning projects, deliveries to other employees, assists with closing files, and assists with file transfers, including copying physical files.
- Manages firm's fax mailbox in Outlook, routes faxes to interested parties, and completes special projects (including Bate stamping).
