Trustpoint.One is pleased to assist a leading law firm in its search for a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal. This detail-oriented paralegal will be responsible for general litigation case management, including document production and review, and trial preparation.
Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal Duties:
- Coordination and management of case documents, analysis of pleadings, organization, substantive review for relevance and responsiveness, identification of privileged and confidential information, and preparation of documents for production.
- Management of litigation document databases and coordination of electronic discovery.
- Hands-on experience with all aspects of proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and International Trade Commission (ITC).
- Preparation of court filings in federal courts and agencies (PTAB and ITC), including cite and fact checking legal briefs, conforming filings to local rules and judge's standing orders, proofreading, and assembling exhibits and appendices.
- Assistance with depositions, preparation of witness files, exhibits, notices, subpoenas, and summaries.
- Assistance with factual or legal research and drafting memoranda.
- Trial preparation, including scheduling and exhibit management, coordination with court clerks, preparation of witness files, page/line deposition summaries, and setting up trial space.
- On a case-specific basis, coordinate and oversee the tasks of junior paralegals and support staff.
General Responsibilities:
- Draft, analyze, and prepare legal documents for a supervising lawyer or paralegal.
- Coordinate legal projects and communicate information for a supervising lawyer or paralegal.
- Collect, evaluate, and summarize relevant facts and legal concepts.
- Attend client meetings and legal proceedings.
- Supervise Project Assistants and Paralegals on assigned tasks.
- Maintain notary license in local jurisdiction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Understanding of legal processes and practice-group specific procedures.

- Must be flexible to work overtime and travel when needed.
- Patent litigation, ITC, and PTAB experience required.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, and an ability to work in a team environment.
