About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Scheduler with expertise in Microsoft Project and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling to join our team in Quincy, MA. This role requires experience in full-cycle project scheduling from pre-bid to closeout, with a strong focus on construction management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, maintaining, and updating project schedules to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and update project schedules for general construction, healthcare, private equity, and multifamily construction projects
Utilize Microsoft Project to track schedules, milestones, and progress
Implement Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques to optimize project timelines
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams to ensure alignment with project goals
Assist in RFP and proposal development for preconstruction and bidding processes
Conduct schedule review meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders
Travel to project sites as needed to assist teams with scheduling and progress tracking
Requirements:
3 years of experience in project scheduling within the construction industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Project (P6 experience is a plus but not required)
Strong understanding of CPM scheduling and construction project planning
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and industry best practices
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in scheduling projects for healthcare, private equity, and multifamily construction
Knowledge of RFP and proposal development
Strong analytical skills and the ability to forecast project schedules
Work Environment:
100% in-office role based in Quincy, MA
