Responsibilities:

  • Provide Phone and Onsite support for clients
  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware, software and networking
  • Repair and upgrade computers and laptops
  • Setup new computers and users and install software following documentation
  • Recommend hardware and software improvements
  • Navigate, log, track time and services through a ticketing system
  • Resolve network connectivity issues
  • Escalate issues as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience working in the IT field performing support for desktops
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 through version 11
  • Experience building/disassembling of desktops and laptops
  • Knowledge of creating Active Directory Users/Groups
  • Understanding of Office 365 and Local/Exchange Online
  • Basic knowledge of cabling and patch panels
  • Ability to follow documentation
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Pass a background check
  • Reliable working vehicle and valid Colorado drivers license

Other Requirements or Preferred Experience:

  • Friendly personality.

SUMMARY:

An ideal candidate will have worked in a computer repair shop or similar situation diagnosing and repairing PCs and laptops. Previous experience working at a Managed Service Provider a bonus.

Onsite to remote work is 50/50. Mileage is reimbursed.

The IT Support Technician will monitor tickets and phone calls, while providing support on an as needed basis. Under the direction of the supervisor, other tasks will be assigned. The ability to follow guidance and documentation is a must. During downtime, learning is encouraged.

A Customer Service mindset is a requirement for this position and is the most important qualification. You will be working with multiple users over the phone and face to face building relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
