Quanex is looking for a Painter to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota.
In this role you are responsible for operating the electrostatic painting equipment to produce painted parts while maintaining work schedules, safety, and quality.

What’s attractive about this position?
- $20.75 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday 3:30pm – 2:00am
What Success Looks Like:
- Checks parts for proper preparation before coating and refuses parts that do not meet specifications.
- Cleans all equipment after paint color change and as required to run efficiently.
- Maintains maximum safety and good housekeeping practices.
- Completes associated paperwork.
- Operates finishing equipment in the application of powder paints.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years’ experience in electrostatic powder is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic chemistry is helpful.
- Ability to read blueprints is helpful.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
