Our Haslet facility operates around the clock, exclusively supporting the LEGO Group on a 24/7 schedule.

SCHEDULE:
Crew D Wed 12:00AM-6:30AM; Thurs-Sat 6:00PM-6:30AM
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production and building equipment while following
Truvant’s approved production and quality documentation
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production machinery.
- Maintains and repairs building equipment and physical structures, including electrical systems.
- Assist Operators in startups of production machinery.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welders, hoists, forklifts, and measuring and testing instruments to repair or fabricate components for repairs, modifications, or installations.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, use electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Must submit documentation for inventory used, assigned tasks, and PMs completed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree in an appropriate technical field of study.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- On the job training provided
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job
- Skill in reading and understanding blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Skill in multitasking and time management and self-motivation.
- Understanding of and experience with 110-208-480-volt single phase and 3 phase electrical systems.
- Some ability in troubleshooting PLC systems and other control systems that include servo motors control, A/C drives, heating circuits, safety circuits, pneumatic controls, etc.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems
- Ability to make simple parts with machining equipment
- Ability to tig weld stainless steel
- Good understanding of all Truvant production equipment operation and ability to train other team members
- Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
- Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
- Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
- Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push
- Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
- Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products
- Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 75 pounds
