General Summary:
The Manager of Door-to-Door Sales is a field-based leadership role; therefore, the ideal candidate will preferably reside within one hour of one of TruVista's main locations: (Tifton, GA; Commerce, GA; Toccoa, GA; Chester, SC or Camden, SC). This role is responsible for driving sales penetration in TruVista’s existing and planned markets in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. This position leads a team of internal field sales representatives assigned to various locations, focused on residential Door-to-Door selling, and requires continuous recruiting, training, and driving the successful performance of the Door-to-Door Sales Team.
Essential Job Functions:
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Build, train, coach, manage, and maintain a successful and high-performing internal Door-to-Door Sales team across Georgia and South Carolina
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual Door-to-Door Sales quota
- Drive strategic sales penetration in TruVista’s existing and planned markets
- Monitor team metrics, individual performance, and conversion rates; provide feedback and accountability
- Accurately forecast monthly revenue and opportunities
- Work hands-on in the field to support reps, close sales, and model best practices
- Assign territories, optimize coverage, and identify high-opportunity neighborhoods
- Support marketing activities and attend local events to expand residential business relationships and drive sales penetration
- Identify and share new residential build opportunities with the Strategic Planning and Construction teams
- Communicate regularly with real estate developers, property owners and real estate sales professionals at new home construction areas to promote awareness and interest in TruVista Fiber
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of TruVista capabilities and value propositions and articulate them effectively
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of market competitors and their sales and marketing strategies
- Practice strategic, consultative selling in concert with a “team selling” approach with other TruVista departments
- Ensure a positive customer experience and manage escalations as needed
- Track and report on KPIs, customer feedback, and team progress to senior leadership
- Communicate regularly with Strategic Planning, Construction, Marketing and Sales team members regarding strategic business development opportunities and conduct joint sales calls as needed
- Perform relationship development and target account penetration activities on a consistent basis, including professional networking, telephone and email communications, and in-person meetings
- Provide insight and suggestions to the Marketing team on tactical initiatives, including advertising, digital and social media, signage, event and sponsorship opportunities to engage prospects in new build opportunity and existing areas
- Promote a positive reputation and brand image for TruVista Fiber in our service areas
- Travel to assigned market areas and stay overnight as needed based on needs of the Door-to-Door Sales Team and business
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned by management
- Demonstrate consistent and on time attendance
- Ensure all sales activity complies with company policies, local laws, and industry standards
- Operate a company vehicle, if assigned, or a personal vehicle – adhering to all local, state, and federal laws as well as internal safety policies

Qualifications:
- Two to five years of experience in sales, preferably in telecommunications or fiber internet
- One plus years of leadership experience in a field sales environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills
- Thorough understanding of executive relationship development and the strategic sales process
- Strong business and financial acumen with an understanding of the economic drivers in residential real estate
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel throughout Georgia and South Carolina as required - based on the needs of Door-to-Door Sales Team and the business. Some overnight travel will be required.
