The ideal teammate would be…
…a dynamic designer, who is self-motivated, executes eye-catching visual creative at a high level, and is capable of juggling multiple assignments without breaking a sweat. A multi-faceted creative, he/she has an extensive portfolio of work that demonstrates a diverse range of project types across different print and visual mediums. The Graphic Designer would report directly to the head of the design department and work with the design team to grow and develop TruVolt’s visual identity across its lawn and garden tools and outdoor leisure brands.
This position is on-site and prospective candidates will be required to work out of our Jersey City office.
In this role as Graphic Designer, you will:
- Create compelling on-brand graphics across a variety of mediums including print, digital, TV, and experiential
- Design brand-consistent packaging and marketing material for new and existing products
- Create high-quality graphics, banners, images, and visual assets for use across various digital platforms, including website, email, social media, and digital advertising campaigns
- Create digital asset imagery for Amazon (A premium content/brand stores), Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, and other e-retail channels
- Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure strict quality standards are consistent throughout all design work
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Compliance, to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with overseas vendors for all necessary packaging development & production
Would you describe yourself as someone who has:
- BA/BFA in a design-related field or complementary work experience in lieu of degree
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- A strong aesthetic design sense coupled with a self-starter mindset
- Strong time management and communications skills
- Strong typographical skills
- Strong photo editing/retouching skills
- Post-production video editing skills, including Adobe Premiere/Adobe After Effects
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- A willingness to embrace change and adapt strategies on the fly
