We offer a competitive base salary with bonuses. The CSR is responsible for customer service of existing and new clients as well. A CSR not only supports the insurance agency by handling details and performing administrative tasks related to daily insurance tasks but has the opportunity to make sales and learn how to operate a small business. Our successful candidate is a team-player with insurance industry customer service experience; excellent phone and face-to-face communication; attention to detail and organization; and a knack for multi-tasking, juggling priorities and problem-solving. Develop agency relationship with new and existing clients
Actively solicit expiration dates from new clients and assist with service of existing accounts
Keep agency informed of account activity
Maintain timely and accurate client records, keep updated at all times and generate reports
Handle inbound and initiate outbound telephone calls to new and existing clients
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a disciplined daily calendar and task list in a multi-tasking environment.
Must have an existing insurance license or be willing to obtain state insurance licenses
Competency with computers, internet applications, Microsoft office, and office equipment
Full time position requires work in office M-F
Must enjoy phone and face-to-face communication with people
Compensation: Hourly wage plus bonus opportunities Required experience: Insurance license required.
