Services has been a leader in medical equipment repairs and servicing. We are seeking to hire a talented Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities for Biomedical Equipment Technician
- Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions.
- Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
- Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and accurate.
- Repair and replace complex biomedical equipment and systems.
- Install and adjust a variety of biomedical and research equipment.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision.
- 100% travel to work sites throughout California and surrounding states’ service territory
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology (or successful completion of the military BMET school) preferred.
- 2 years minimum relevant experience working with biomedical equipment.
- CBET certification preferred.
- Skilled proficiency in the use of tools and test equipment
- Ability to interpret technical data like electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to solve technical and performance problems using information from a variety of sources.
- Strong demonstrable technical troubleshooting ability
- Working knowledge of the field's technical requirements, codes, and standards.
- Advanced computer skills
- A highly professional demeanor
License/Certification/Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation to work sites.
