Security Architect

• Title: Security Architect
• Location: On-site at 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201
• Duration: March 3, 2025, to December 31, 2025
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic firewall security architecture vision aligned with the business strategy.
• Provide NextGen firewall architecture designs and configurations.
• Research and advocate new firewall technologies and security products.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses.
• Define security controls and perform risk assessments.
• Design and implement enterprise security architecture.
• Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Conduct security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams for secure design and integration.

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

• At least 12 years of experience in information security or IT risk management.
• Ability to interact with various personnel to explain and enforce security measures.
• Good knowledge of current IT risks and experience in implementing security solutions.
• Expertise in security architecture, leadership, and analytical guidance.
• Experience with security solutions like NGFW, DNS/DNSSEC, Cisco ISE, proxy, cloud solutions, and Data Loss Prevention technology.
• Familiarity with security architecture frameworks like TOGAF, SABSA, NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Proficiency in network security, cloud security, encryption, IAM, threat modeling, and penetration testing.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or CISM.
