What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Technician position at Tryfacta?
- Respond to daily Facility ticket request.
- Assembles and moves furniture, office equipment, hangs pictures and office boards.
- Setup large and small events.
- Ensures proper use of tools and assigned machinery and reports any concerns to supervision.
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy ana operations.
- Complete daily and monthly checklists to ensure the safety of the facility.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with building and agency staff.
- Keys and rekeying
- Keep stock of inventory
- Collect and prepare e-waste for pick-up.
- Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed, using a workorder system.
- Ability to communicate the status of work activity and identify methods to perform activities safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Performs general facility basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair including carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and locksmithing.
- Performs minor facility equipment installations.
- Performs required facility safety and regulatory inspections.
- Collects and packages used batteries for disposal.
- Prepares appropriate forms and/or purchases equipment, parts, and tools.
- Initiate and tracks repair and maintenance orders.
- Relocates office contents, including equipment, computers, and furnishings.
- Assembles and installs office furniture and equipment, cubicles, electrical and communication components, and signage.
- Fabricates and installs seismic bracing and other miscellaneous materials as needed.
- Performs special events set up and breakdown including tables, chairs, room dividers, extension cords, sound system equipment, and other aesthetic components.
- Inspects and verifies emergency supplies and first aid equipment.
- Transports supplies, parts, and equipment.
- Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of a facility maintenance professional.
