Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or factory setting and possess knowledge of various tools and equipment used in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly line tasks to fabricate products
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble components
- Follow instructions to complete tasks efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in loading and unloading materials
- Operate forklifts or other machinery as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints
- Familiarity with mechanical processes and assembly techniques
- Experience working on an assembly line is a plus
- Assist supervisors in coordinating the work of staff while maintaining and repairing plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Provides assistance to carpenters and electricians. Paints buildings and structures inside and out. Repairs grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
- Provides assistance to the other skilled trades personnel.
- Operates, maintains and repairs equipment and tools. Maintains records. Attends meetings and trainings as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.22 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
