Job Title: Legal Analyst

Duration: 6 Months
Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Crime Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This grant-funded civilian position involves supporting law enforcement through data analysis and intelligence gathering. If you have a background in public administration, law enforcement, or a related field, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis and manage sensitive projects.
- Support the Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) information sharing platform and website.
- Prepare reports, assessments, and bulletins.
- Handle administrative duties related to TAG, including purchasing and grant applications.
- Maintain professional relationships with law enforcement and TAG participants.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate data from various law enforcement sources.
- Develop analytical tools like link analysis and crime incident maps.
- Prepare detailed reports and facilitate information transfer between agencies.
- Maintain intelligence databases and testify in court if needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Valid State-issued Driver’s License.
- Minimum of three years in public administration, law enforcement, or related field.
- Disqualifications include felony convictions, certain misdemeanor convictions, open arrests, and family violence convictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with criminal street gangs.
