Psychiatric Nurse

• Possess a current, unrestricted license as a professional nurse in a hospital or other institution, clinic, or medical center.
• Have or mental health entity, clinic, or medical center.
• Possess the ability to provide medical assistance and/or guidance to the physically and/or mentally ill; the ability to supervise the work programs and activities of a staff of nurses providing care to patients in an assigned area; and the ability to physically lift, move, and position clients as needed; and
• Possess the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. American Sign Language or Braille may also be considered an acceptable form of communication upon approval from the Division. Summary

As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate care to patients in a behavioral health hospital setting. Your core skills in patient assessment, nursing, and basic life support will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. With premium expertise in critical care and familiarity with EHR systems, you will effectively manage patient records and treatment plans. Your relevant experience in health coaching and community care will further enhance the therapeutic environment, allowing you to support patients on their journey to recovery and mental wellness.

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a behavioral health setting, including patient assessment and monitoring vital signs.

Pay: $63.40 - $67.04 per hour
