Key Responsibilities: As a Universal Banker at TS Banking Group, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Greeting customers and interacting with them when they enter the branch
• Meeting clients' day-to-day transactional needs and resolving their service and maintenance-related inquiries
• Promoting bank products and services
• Opening day-to-day accounts, fulfilling pre-approved credit opportunities, and working closely with team members to ensure an optimal experience for clients
• Interacting with the local market to gain new clients and expand relationships with existing ones
• Providing WoW client service through quality conversations, efficient and accurate processing of client transactions, and adhering to the Branch Service Level Agreement
• Selling, opening, and maintaining all personal banking products and services to new and existing clients
• Cross-selling/referring to other TS Banking Group areas, including commercial and small business lending, and wealth management and trust
• Meeting or exceeding established sales goals and contributing to branch deposit growth
• Tracking and logging all interactions in the bank's CRM system
• Participating in weekly sales huddles and completing follow-up actions
• Maintaining a system of follow-up mail and telephone communication with new and existing clients to generate additional business
• Answering client questions and handling objections during the sales process
• Performing both account opening and transactional processes in the delivery of efficient, accurate, and professional service that defines exceptional client service and reputation
• Adhering to lean account opening processes and being proficient in personal account opening, maintenance, and closing, including checking, savings, and safe deposit boxes
• Checking ordering, check cashing procedures, issuing cashier's checks, processing wire transfers, and maintaining online banking and mobile banking capabilities
• Being knowledgeable in BSA requirements, including CTR transactions and detecting/reporting suspicious/unusual activity
• Providing awareness of all banking products and services via outbound communication and interaction with current and prospective clients
• Making referrals and possessing a thorough knowledge of TS Banking Group products and services
• Gathering and organizing client information based on referrals, answering questions regarding same, making follow-up calls, and using the CRM system to prepare and proceed with next steps in referral process
• Participating in branch and bank business development activities, including community events, to promote the bank's favorable image
• Protecting TS Banking Group financial interests and reputation by complying with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations
• Being proactive in aisle prospecting for in-store bankers
• Complying with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures
