What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packer - 1st shift position at TS Food Packaging?
Packer needed for first shift 40-50 hours per week from 6:45 am - 3:00 pm (some days till 5:00 pm) Monday - Friday. Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet customer demands. Weekly attendance bonus and production bonus eligibility.
Duties:
- Pack items into designated packaging in preparation for shipment to customer - Work with team to complete end of day cleaning of area.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control by inspecting items for any defects or damages
- Maintain a clean and organized work area maintaining all safety guidelines.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis, standing extended periods up to 10 hours
- Familiarity with Food Safety a plus.
Will need to provide valid documentation to work in U.S.
