What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packer - 2nd shift position at TS Food Packaging?
Packers needed for 2nd shift from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday-Friday. Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet customer demands. Pay includes a $2.00 shift differential. Potential for monthly production and attendance bonus.
Duties:
- Pack items into designated packaging in preparation of shipment to customer
- Ensure accuracy and quality control by inspecting items for any defects or damages -Work with team to participate in end of shift sanitation duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area maintaining all safety guidelines - Verify labels and accuracy of product packaging
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Must have effective communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 30 lbs, and stand up to 8 hours.
- Familiarity with Food Safety a plus.
