ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and coordinate activities involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Supervise and provide work direction for maintenance and repair work of facilities and equipment.
- Maintain operating condition of building and equipment.
- Researches, plans and prepares proposals for procurement of equipment and tools.
- Diagnose any problems and determine necessary repairs needed.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedule to ensure work orders are released in a timely manner.
- Supervises inventories of machine replacement parts, materials and supplies to maintain proper levels.
- Consult and be a point of contact with outside vendors for any building or equipment needs.
- Ensure company compliance with state and federal codes and laws.
- Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
- Ensure safe operations.
- Have the ability to establish and execute a monthly plan.
- Must execute action items per the annual business plan to help achieve section key metrics (downtime reduction, cost reduction).
- Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
- Assist with the maintenance of the China Compulsory certification (CCC) system.
- Administer performance reviews.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Requires extensive knowledge of Maintenance practices and procedures.
