JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: QC Inspector
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good understanding of processes and requirements. Ensure quality standards. Must be self motivated, have good interpersonal and communication skills and be dependable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect finished products within the cycle time prior to delivery to the internal or external customer to verify quality specifications are met at inspection stations
- Collect data for rejects and support for eliminate internal defects
- Support development of Inspection Methods/OPSTAND on inspection station/process
- Ensure policies/procedures are understood and followed.
- Provide a safe and professional work environment.
- Support to Develop methods of inspection for improvement.
- Display and promote teamwork and a respectful atmosphere.
- Treat every associate fairly, equally, with respect and dignity.
- Support all TS Tech Indiana quality requirements.
- Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
- Ensure safe operations.
- Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
- All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to stand or sit, climb stairs, use fingers, hands, wrists, arms, lift and/or move a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally.
