We are seeking a self-motivated individual with exceptional leadership skills to manage the Field Department of a growing Survey Division.
Responsibilities:
- Manage eight Survey Crews.
- QA/QC all field work deliverables.
- Hire and train field survey staff as necessary.
- Coordinate with office survey staff for completion of deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Survey Party Chief, highly skilled in the operation of Trimble survey equipment including the TSC5 Controller, S7 Total Station, and R-12 GPS Unit.
- California Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).
- Excellent professional, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in construction staking, record map boundary calculations, and accurate, detailed field note preparation.
- Proven skills as a team player with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and procedures as they are initiated.
- Ability to supervise and train.
- Excellent math skills.
- Valid California drivers license and acceptable DMV record.

Pay Scale: $64.00 - $84.00 hourly DOE
