Summary of Position: The Patient Transporter assists patients by transporting them to and from Radiology, and around the clinic.
We are currently hiring a part-time Patient Transporter at our New Braunfels location.
What You'll Do:
- Cordially greet and guide visitors and patient
- Transport patients to and from the radiology area
- Comforts patients and their families by offering support and encouragement
- Transports equipment and supplies as needed
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with federal and state regulations
- Input Xray orders in computer (efferent)
- Input Xray orders in athena
- Import incoming Xray images (from outside disks)
- Burn Xray Images onto disks for patients
- Escort patients to exams rooms after xrays
- Grab patients from cast room as needed for xrays
- Greets patients. Provides compassion.
- Helps patients in & out of wheelchair as needed
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Extraordinary customer service skills. Must be customer-focused.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels (patients, internal/external customers).
- Other duties as assigned as necessary and may vary at times, as needed, by your immediate supervisor or as directed by the company.
- Position requires continuous walking patients to and from departments. Bending, stooping, lifting patients, pushing patients in wheelchairs. Etc.

Salary : $12
