Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Wireless Field Integrator with hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry to support the integration and maintenance of wireless network infrastructure. This role involves extensive fieldwork, including battery swaps, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and onsite integration at telecom sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in wireless systems, the ability to work independently in outdoor environments, and a commitment to adhering to all field safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite wireless equipment integration and commissioning, including 4G/5G radio access networks (RAN).
- Conduct battery swaps and power upgrades at wireless sites, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Install, configure, and test telecom hardware, including radios, antennas, cabling, and power systems.
- Verify system functionality through post-installation testing and troubleshooting.
- Complete site audits and detailed documentation (photos, checklists, integration logs).
- Follow integration schedules and coordinate with NOC and engineering teams for remote support.
- Maintain accurate records of all field work, equipment used, and time reporting.
- Identify and report potential hazards, equipment issues, or site risks.
- Ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE, fall protection, and electrical safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of experience in wireless telecommunications, with a focus on RAN integration or field services.
- Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure including DC power systems, fiber, coax, and grounding.
- Experience with battery technologies (e.g., VRLA, lithium-ion) and safe battery handling and replacement.
- Familiarity with OEM equipment (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, or similar) and associated tools/software.
- Proficient in reading site drawings, schematics, and network diagrams.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, power, and equipment issues in the field with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and in remote or elevated locations.
- OSHA 10/30 Certification, CPR/First Aid, RF Awareness, and Tower Climber Safety (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel regionally as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and work at heights if required.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working outdoors.
- Comfortable working in confined or high-risk areas while following safety protocols.
Work Environment:
- Primarily field-based with travel to wireless sites.
- Occasional overnight travel depending on site location and project needs.
- Must be available for on-call rotations, emergency support, and flexible work hours including nights/weekends as needed.
