TSC's Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) Division is actively recruiting a Program Controls Analyst II to join our team in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Professionals with previous experience in defense industry financial analytics are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, program cost scheduling, and accounting in support of government contracts. Upon the candidate’s selection, the individual is expected to adhere to, comply with, and ensure that others comply with company policy, contractual obligations, and any operational workflows or procedures as directed by company leadership. As an integral member of the Division level business operations team other duties may be assigned. This candidate will work remotely, with some travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support the Division and individual Program business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insight to support business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, government regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze program costs, perform financial analysis for labor, material, subcontract, and ODC estimates against budget and forecast.
  • Perform variance analysis to forecasted results (EAC, Sales, Profit and Cash), identifying specific drivers of deviations from estimates.
  • Reviews contract awards and modifications to assure that accounting, billing, finance, and funding are aligned properly in the relevant systems.
  • Responsible and accountable for program financial forecast including development and overall management of program Estimate-at-Complete (EAC).
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for rapidly growing program areas.
  • Functional area support for creation and maintenance of budgets.
  • Identify risks and opportunities not in the forecast.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field plus 2 - 4 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably government.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret security clearance.
  • Experience in government contract financials and the Defense industry.
  • Understanding of DCAA/DCMA requirements and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present financial data to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, CP, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Initiative to meet critical deadlines without reminders.
  • Demonstrated ability for advanced use of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment for complex problem solving.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to both precision and accuracy.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Demonstrated success with developing substantiated basis of estimates.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Ability to effectively support multiple programs and functional leads simultaneously.
  • Active, existing security clearance.
