Job Description
Our clients come to us because we don’t just follow trends; we set them. We are looking for a full-cycle sales director to assist our company in expanding our presence amongst these brands. Your responsibilities as a sales director will include identifying and engaging our buyer, managing the entire sales process, effectively negotiating contracts, and seamlessly transitioning new clients to a Customer Success Manager. While this sounds traditional, don’t be mistaken. We utilize innovative techniques and tools that break away from the traditional playbook, and we need someone who will embrace and contribute to this approach. \n- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets within defined target accounts
- Own and hit/exceed weekly first meeting targets
- Own and hit/exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, particularly within the Work Tech and HR Tech landscapes, as well as marketing trends
- Maintain and proactively update pipeline and deal status within CRM (currently HubSpot Sales Hub)
- No management responsibilities
- 2-3 years of experience in a B2B sales environment
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a sales executive or sales and marketing director
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
