What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Painter position at TSE International?
Painting
- Mixes, matches, and blends various paints and special protective coatings to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties
- Paints equipment using brush, spray gun and conventional and airless spray systems
- Prepares product for painting including, caulks holes, cracks, protecting non-paintable areas
- Properly use and maintain paint recycler and paint booth
- Cleans and stores tools and equipment and cleans work sites
- Properly maintains personal protective equipment
Blasting
- Remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt to impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment
- Mask specified areas of object to protect from abrasives
- All blasting must be cleaned of slag prior to painting
- Properly maintain and use paint/blast equipment
- Operate forklift to transport material
Medium Work: Lift 50 pounds maximum. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
Unrestricted walking and standing.
